Before leaving the dock for any charter event. Todd Gilman and Crew always "talk safety". The discussion is paramount to ensuring that all persons are safe while on the charter. All persons regardless of age are fitted with a Life Jacket (PFD) and anyone under the age of 14 is required to wear their life jacket while on board.
Before anyone enters the water, clear instruction is provided with opportunities for ongoing engagement and further instruction for all Tubers, Wakeboarders and Waterskiers. Watersports participants are required to rotate Life Jackets from their riding on board jackets to the "O'Brien" Ski Jackets prior to riding-skiing.
Ongoing instruction is provided for anyone who is fishing. Safety glasses are provided along with positive engagement to ensure everyone's fun and enjoyment.
Watersports Charters
Watersports charters are offered by reservation and can include tubing, waterskiing, waterskiing instruction, wakeboarding and wakeboarding instruction.
Fishing Charters
We focus on Saltwater Fishing Charters on the Westport & Norwalk Island waters providing family and small group charter instruction. We troll, bait cast and drop cast in and around the Norwalk Islands.
Fresh Water and Fly Fishing
Fresh water and fly fishing opportunities in a one-on-one or small group setting are also available. Once booked, freshwater fishing outings include all Bait, Rods, Tackle and Instruction.

Each vessel is operated under Todd Gilman’s USCG Master Captains License (USA 000601034).
Additionally, the vessels are registered and plated by the State of Connecticut as legal Party/Charter Boats for hire for recreational purposes. Once booked, charters are all-inclusive: lifejackets, watersports equipment, rods, tackle and complimentary beverages are included.
